When I first pulled up to Mirbeau, I felt like I was being transported to a chateau in the French countryside - the building itself was just gorgeous!
First up on my itinerary was lunch at The Bistro & Wine Bar. Since it was such a beautiful day without a cloud in the sky, I sat outside on the patio and had a beautiful view of the pond and gardens while I ate.
The menu was French inspired and there were plenty of vegetarian options which was great for me! They also had a very extensive wine list. I decided to go with a glass (or two) or Rose
I started off lunch with the cheese board, which did NOT disappoint. Although its true I've never met a cheese I didn't like, every single cheese on the board was absolutely delicious. They were served with figs, grapes and locally made honey. The cheese board rivaled any I've had in Paris - I was very impressed!
Next up was the yellow and red beet salad. Topped with blood oranges and a pistachio vinaigrette, the salad also featured "goat cheese croutons" which were essentially warm balls of goat cheese with a crouton-y crust on the outside....soooooo good!!
Although I chose to dine outside on the patio, eating inside The Bistro would be just as nice, especially in the colder months when you could sit by the fireplace.
You guys are going to think I am a total dork, but I was obsessed with the bathroom that was just next to The Bistro. Hot pink paneled walls, antique French inspired mirrors, chandeliers...could this bathroom be any more my style?! Totally swoon worthy!
Next up: a visit to the spa for a massage and a facial. There was no shortage of luxury in the spa, that's for sure! After I entered the locker room and changed into the coziest robe I've ever put on {it was FLEECE LINED, people...so soft against my skin!} I relaxed in the spa's waiting area, which feels like the cellar of an old royal chateau. Dozens of lounge chairs circled a heated foot massage pool where you could dip your feet as you waited to be called for your treatment.

Each of the treatment rooms has a fireplace and sound system that plays music to completely soothe you. I started off with the Mirbeau Signature massage and it was so nice that I actually fell asleep during it! I'm used to getting clinical massages which can be a bit intense, so it was nice to take a break from that and be able to fully relax.

Then I had the Mirbeau Signature facial which was just as lovely. My skin felt soft, smooth and rejuvenated afterwards and is still glowing and radiant today! I would definitely recommend both treatments to anyone visiting the spa.
After my treatments, I changed into my bathing suit and stepped outside on to the Aqua Terrace, an outdoor oasis that has a relaxing hot plunge whirlpool with individually controlled massaging jets, a waterfall, an oversized fireplace and a bar serving small plates and beverages. It was the perfect way to end my day at the spa - I truly didn't want to leave!
On my way out, I noticed this pretty waterfall, just another example of how beautiful Mirbeau is and how it really does look and feel like a castle in the French countryside. The attention to detail here is absolutely perfect.
As you can probably tell by now, I thoroughly enjoyed my day at Mirbeau. Not only is the entire place beautiful wherever you turn, the food was fantastic and the spa treatments were excellent. I will definitely be back for another spa day in the future, and hopefully will get to experience the inn so I can take photos and report back to you all on that! :) Let me know what you think of my Mirbeau spa day in the comments below.
I was given a complimentary lunch, massage and facial in exchange for my review, but all opinions are honest and my own.

Jesus Christ! What a treat! Everything about that place looks absolutely amazing... especially the food. When I was in London I had a ton of beet and goat cheese salads that I still fantasize about to this day...
