I hope that everyone had a great weekend! This past Saturday, my mum and I spent a nice, relaxing day trying out the new Jugos poolside pop up inside The Clubs at Charles River Park. Jugos already has a juice bar inside the Back Bay orange line station, but they've opened up this fun pop up by the pool for the summer months and it's the perfect sunny day dining spot!
The Jugos island beach snack shack offers up a “local roots with island rhythms" menu featuring favorite summer classics with a Latin influence including fresh salads, tacos and acai bowls along with the smoothies and juices that have made the Dartmouth Street Jugos one of the city's most popular juice destinations. The first thing my mum and I wanted to try were the batidos (aka smoothies) - I got the Figawi and she went for the Super Linda.

After some time spent lounging and sitting with our toes in the pool, we decided to try a few items off the lunch menu.
the full menu can be found here
I ordered the quesadilla...
and my mum got the Kai acai bowl which was SO good!
The Jugos pop up is located at 10 Whittier Place inside The Clubs at Charles River Park, right off the Science Park green line T stop, and is open for lunch and dinner (weather permitting) from 11am-8pm every day this summer. The CCRP is one of Boston's hidden gems with a large outdoor pool and sun deck open Memorial Day through Labor Day. The CCRP is open to the public daily with the purchase of a pass (depending on available space) costing $40 per adult and $20 per child, but anyone can visit Jugos at CCRP to eat or grab a smoothie by using the secret password “Visit Jugos” at the gate.
Many thanks to CBH Communications & Jugos for gifting my mother and I each with a day pass to visit the pool and for treating us at the Jugos pop up shack!
How cute is this little place?! Such a great idea for a little weekend relaxing! Happy Monday!

ReplyDeleteI can't believe I've never heard of this place - but it's a bit pricey for the day lol Have you been to the Revere pool yet?! It's still pricey at $30 for the day, but sometimes extreme heat calls for extreme purchases haha!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check this out! I hope we have nice weather next weekend!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to cool off in the summer! Cute swimsuit!
