You have likely noticed my rose gold bangle made by Alexis in a bunch of my outfit posts and Instagram photos - I bought it a few months ago right after meeting Alexis at a blogger dinner and wear it almost every single day! She's also going to help me create a custom vintage-inspired ring using the center diamond from my late Grammy's engagement ring, which should be a fun and really meaningful process for me.
Georgina and I got to Tryst {who has been awarded Best of Weddings for makeup every year by The Knot since 2011} early so the lovely staff could do our makeup for the party. Aren't they an absolutely gorgeous bunch of girls?
As many of you know, I wear the same makeup look almost every day - a black cat eye, long lashes, minimal face makeup and a bit of colored lip gloss - so I am always a bit anxious to have my makeup done by someone else. I realize this does not make me the ideal customer for a makeup application, but Tayla patiently worked with me to overcome my fear of eyeshadow and create a look I loved. She even encouraged me to wear a red lip for the very first time since my days as a competitive dancer!
Georgina and I both rented fun, feminine dresses from Rent the Runway to look our best for the event! :)
The party was catered by Kate's Table and I was sooo pleased to see that the majority of the food was vegetarian! Yay for me! :) The appetizers were amazing, and I kept stepping away from conversations to ever-so-slyly grab another and another. She also made Margaritas and put them in tiny Patron bottles with straws sticking out, which were so creative and a hit with all the bloggers!
Lots of the ladies who attended got their brows done or learned new makeup tricks from the Tryst staff. DJ Edward Grant Stuart was on hand to keep us dancing to a great mix of new and old songs - I loved the vibe in the salon while we all mingled. We all tried on jewelry, and I fell in love with this gorgeous rose gold and diamond eternity ring.
I gave each blogger who attended and each Tryst staff member one of my handmade glitter wine glasses to drink from during the party and take home afterwards! We all received a very generous swag bag filled with high end skincare products from Tryst, free blowouts from Salon Capri and a delicious Nutella stuffed cookie from Kate's Table. (Seriously, it was so good that I ate it on the car ride home.)
And now, for the most exciting part of this post - the giveaway! This will be the first and only giveaway that Alexis will sponsor, so I feel extremely honored that she chose Georgina and I to share this with all of our readers. Alexis Kletjian believes in curating a well-balanced jewelry box, filled with a collection you will treasure in this lifetime and for those you will leave behind. She designs with two things in mind - wearability and longevity - and thinks fine jewelry should be a fundamental part of creating your own unique and individual style as it will ultimately become a part of your own personal history. Alexis is currently taking special orders and her entire collection will debut this fall.
Two lucky readers of Cupcakes & Couture and Notes on Lifestyle by Georgina will win a $200 gift credit to be used towards any piece of Alexis' fine jewelry. What would you choose if you won - one of her gorgeous bangles, dainty rings or diamond encrusted necklaces? I know I'd choose that rose gold diamond eternity ring if I won! :) You can enter using the Rafflecopter widget below, and you have one month to enter. Please share with everyone you know, and good luck!

ReplyDeleteAlexis Kletjian Fine Jewelry Party celebrates elegance and timeless craftsmanship, much like an intricately embroidery patch designscustom name embroidered patch design. Just as fine jewelry pieces are meticulously crafted with attention to detail, an embroidery patch can be designed to reflect the luxury and sophistication of the event. Whether incorporating elegant monograms or delicate motifs inspired by the jewelry, the patch design would serve as a stylish memento, capturing the essence of the occasion with artistry and flair.
