{CLOSED} Mother's Day Giveaway with Long Elegant Legs

I'm excited to be partnering with Long Elegant Legs today for a great Mother's Day Giveaway! LEL is the authority on clothing for tall women, and even though I'm just 5'4" and don't quite qualify as tall, my younger sister Jill is 6' and I know how hard she struggles to find proper fitting clothing! It makes me happy to spread the word about LEL for all the tall girls out there who face the same shopping challenges. :)

You don't need to be tall to enter the giveaway, and neither does your mum! Winners will receive a box canvas image, expertly printed from a digital photo of your choosing and a gift they can use to treat themselves – tall ladies will no doubt be interested in a $100 LEL gift card, or any TWO items from the website. Alternatively, they're offering a $100 American Express gift card which can be used for any purpose!

To enter, all you need to do is let us know why your mum is great! Simply leave a comment below with your email address or twitter handle describing the best fashion lesson your mother taught you. I remember my mum telling me when I was younger to never mix patterns like polka dots, checks and stripes, but I can't say I always listen to her advice!

LEL will be reading through all the entries both on my blog and theirs and picking three winners at random, announcing the results this coming Mother’s Day (May 11). They will reach out to the lucky winners shortly afterwards to arrange delivery of your canvas and choice of gift, so stay tuned and good luck!! :)

  1. Awesome giveaway, Amy! I'm 5'9", and could definitely use a gift card to LEL :)

A fashion lesson my mom taught me is to avoid colors that wash me and my fair skin/light hair out. My mom's the best and has been so excited and helpful lately with helping me prepare for the baby! She's going to be an awesome grandma!

  6. This is awesome sister! As you know mum always tried to help me look good despite my eclectic fashion sense but the big advice she gave me was to always save my prom dresses incase I was invited to a ball or had to attend a fancy company opening. I never thought that would happens but it turns out she was right!! Those dressed might just come in handy for a few work events coming up! Thanks mom for thinking highly of my dreams and knowing that I could be invited to such fancy events!

  7. The Breckenridge sisters are adorable!... My mom always looks cute, even on a budget! She taught me to always look presentable when going out in public. This does not mean heels and skirts 24/7, but don't go to the grocery store in your PJs because you never know who you might see!

  9. I was kind of a rebellious teenager. My Mom was always after to me to wear longer skirts, pants that weren't skintight, shirts that weren't lowcat and more sensible shoes. It took me awhile before I understand what she was trying to teach me! And of course, I tell my kids the same thing now!
