Miss Boston & Miss Cambridge 2014 Pageant

I am so excited to be volunteering on the board for the Miss Boston Scholarship Organization this year! I started by helping out with mock interviews in the fall and had such a great time that I asked to volunteer for the 2014 pageant. Over the last couple of months I've been helping with various things including website design & content and pageant prep & planning, and I also am writing the press releases which I find so fun!

I wanted to share the press release and pageant details with you all today so you can learn more about the organization and upcoming event. I hope to see some of you Bostonians at the pageant - I'll be helping out backstage and behind the scenes, but if you do plan to attend, please let me know so I can say hi! :) The pageant will be a blast and better yet, your ticket will help support these very talented girls with their education and volunteer efforts.

Miss Massachusetts 2014 Pageant preliminary to take place

 February 16^th at the Omni Parker House Hotel in Boston

{Boston, MA – January 22, 2014}  Tickets are now on sale for the Miss Boston and Miss Cambridge 2014 Pageant! The live event will take place on Sunday, February 16^th at 5pm at the Omni Parker House Hotel located at 60 School St, Boston, MA 02108.

The Miss Boston and Miss Cambridge Pageant is an official preliminary to the Miss Massachusetts and Miss America pageants. The young women who are crowned Miss Boston 2014 and Miss Cambridge 2014 will each receive a $1,500 academic scholarship, a scholarship & prize package worth over $10,000 and will have a variety of opportunities to raise awareness and affect change for social issues that are important to them.

Tickets purchased in advance cost $30 and tickets purchased at the door will cost $35. VIP tickets are also available for $50 and grant access to exclusive reserved seating within the first five rows of the theater as well as a program book.

The Miss Boston Scholarship Organization is dedicated to providing young women with scholarships, public speaking opportunities and support for Miss America's official platform: Children's Miracle Network.
