Style Inspiration: New Year's Eve

Can you believe that New Year's Eve is tomorrow night?! This year has absolutely flown by. For me, the most fun part about NYE has always been dressing up - it's an excuse to get dressy and put on my most fabulous outfit!! I haven't planned out my outfit quite yet, but there are four favorite fashion trends I'm loving to ring in the New Year - what are you going to wear??

1. Tulle Skirts. What better time than NYE to bring out your ballet-inspired tulle skirts?? You can wear them with something as casual as a sweatshirt or as dressy as a lace blouse and they will always look polished and feminine. I'm having one custom made for me right now by mrs_errington's Poshmark store and I can't wait to wear it once it's ready!

2. Feathers. It's tough to wear feathers on a daily basis, so New Year's is a great time to break them out of your closet and flit around the party! :) 



3. Sequins. This one is obvious, I know! There are so many sequin dresses out there to choose from, but why not try out a pair of sequin skinnies or a sparkly blazer instead?

4. A LBD. Dress it up with heels, down with flats, add a statement necklace or an armful of glittering bangles...the possibilities are endless! You can't go wrong with a LBD!

    I can't wait to see your tulle skirt!! I'm still not positive what we're doing for NYE... it'll either be staying home or going to a house party. Either way, it'll be casual dress for me :)

    I love the idea of a tulle skirt but I can't see myself actually wearing one! All of these are great choices for NYE though we are just staying in this year so I will probably not be too festive!
