When I came across Bergamot, a monthly collection of scent samples from different fragrance houses delivered straight to your door, I knew I had to learn more about them. I reached out to them and let them know about my interest in their new subscription service and they kindly sent me a free October box and offered to give away another free box to one of my readers!
This month's theme was Indian Summer and the collection "celebrates that warmth of the past season but with scents from Autumn’s kitchen." Click through to learn more about each of three scents and enter to win your own box.
The first scent was 'Ginger Ciao' by Yosh. I could definitely smell the ginger in this one and it was a very spicy, oriental scent. It also contains ylang ylang and lily of the valley, but the spicier notes are what stood out most to me on my skin. As I'm more of a floral fan, this scent wasn't my cup of tea, but I could definitely see it being a sexy night out perfume for someone else!
The second scent in the collection was 'D'anjou' by DSH Perfumes. D'anjou means pear in french and I could really smell the sweet, fruity scent of pears mixed with lighter florals like rose and lily. This is such a pretty smell for daytime and is on the younger, more feminine side. Very easy to wear and not overpowering - a win for me!
The third smell was my favorite - 'Oolong Infini' by Atelier Cologne. I am a huge fan of oolong tea so I was excited to smell this note in a fragrance! I love that it also contains orange blossom, one of my favorite florals...the combination was light but interesting on my skin. I would definitely wear this scent in the late summer and early fall months - it suited me very well. A unique mix of floral and fresh that would make for a nice signature scent. I'm considering buying this one, and if I do, I get a free month's subscription for buying a full size fragrance! Pretty nice deal. :)

What a great idea for a subscription service! I always love trying new perfumes too and in addition to hoarding samples, I pull pages out of magazines and keep those too! Too much? Maybe:P Love the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool concept! I have to admit, I'm not a big fragrance person (most give me migraines), but an obsessed friend would love this!
