Shopping List: Summer Kimono Robes

One of the many perks of living alone is that I can wear whatever I want when I'm lounging around my apartment. This means I can wear old sweats and tees, which I do every so often, but I prefer to wear pretty slips and robes because they make me happy. :) I have a super soft pink fleece robe that I wear during the colder months, but in the summer I prefer to wear a lighter material like silk, satin, jersey or cotton. I've put together a great shopping list of pretty, feminine robes to wear during these hot few months - which is your favorite? What do you wear when you're lounging around the house?

    I have been looking for a cute robe for the summer months too! I have a fleece red one, but it is just getting way to hot! I think my favorite is the pink satin one:)

    Oh yeah I am ALL about dressing like this in the summer. NY summers are stupendously hot and I find my self investing in alot of breezy maxis.

    The Colette one looks very simple but also very soft. That would be my pick. I lounge around in sweats so I could definitely class it up a bit.

    I've been wanting a kimono for so long! I think the silky and satin ones are so pretty -- perfect for summer lounging!

    I have a soft blue robe that I wear during the winter months too, but I've been looking for something a little lighter and feminine for the summer. It's nice to be able to put something silky and cute on for breakfast on your patio. I really love that pale pink robe!

    I'm a huge fan of kimonos too and bought mine in Japan in their UNIQLO store, good memories :)

    Awww super love kimonos. The chevron stripe has to be my choice! Have you also seen the kimono robes on AsianIdeas.com? I've been eyeing on their embroidered kimono robes for a while and curious me really wants to try the yukata for summer.
