Design Inspiration: Small Spaces

I've been doing lots of research {if you can call searching on Pinterest research...} for smart design ideas for small apartments. I'm only a month and a half away from moving into my new lofted studio and it doesn't have much closet or cabinet space at all, so I'll need to get creative with the space in order to fit all my clothes {and shoes and bags and jewelry!} Luckily I have super high ceilings, so I'll be able to store things upwards, but I still need some inspiration on how to keep things organized but looking cute. Below are some of the great ideas I've found - do you have any tips for living in a small space? I'd love to hear them in your comments below!

Use a wine rack to hold your towels in the bathroom - saves space in the closet and drawers!

Hang up a big shoe rack on the back of your closet door.

Add an entryway with shelving, cubbies and hooks for additional storage.

Turn a corner of your room into a "non-closet closet" or dressing area with a hanging bar and shelving if you can't fit all your clothes in one spot!

Put shelving unit in the lofted area of your space for even more storage {and don't leave the walls up there bare!}

Repurpose an old drawer and use it as a shelf in your bathroom for all of your toiletries!

Buy an island with cabinets and hooks to hang your wine glasses so you can maximize space in the kitchen area.

Take the drawers out of an old dresser, paint it a fun color and use cubby bins to keep things out of sight. {I could definitely do this for all of my crafting materials!}
