Splurge vs. Steal: Ankle Strap Ballerinas

I have a love affair with ballet flats. Not just any ballet flats, but the ones that actually look like ballet shoes, and no one designs these better than Chloe. {I have these babies in blush that I wear all the time...they're the comfiest pair of shoes I own, hands down.} When I spotted Chloe's new ankle strap ballerinas, I fell in love all over again and knew I needed to have them. But, my New Year's Resolution was to shop less and save more, so I decided to try and find a pair that were more wallet friendly. How do you think I did?

splurge:

Chloe leather ballet flats - $485

steal:

Zara leather ballet flats - $90

Although the Zara pair is definitely easier on my budget and features a cute jeweled ankle strap with gold hardware, I really love the criss-crossed ribbons on the Chloe pair because they remind me of my old pointe shoes.
