Design Inspiration: Accent Walls
It seems that accent walls are the newest trend in interior design! Whether they're wallpapered or painted, adding a pop of color and pattern to a wall in your foyer, office, bedroom or hallway is a fun way to express your personality and originality. I can't paint or wallpaper my apartment, so I tried to recreate this fun trend by hanging fabric panels behind my bed:

I love accent walls! We had a bright blue wall in our old apartment but I like the idea of a bold pattern like chevron or stripes :)

I love the panels behind your bed; the colors are gorgeous! A friend of mine gave me a roll of Anthropologie wallpaper called "mineral study" as a houswarming gift. I plan to hang it as an accent wall somewhere in our house...not sure where yet though :)

we do have an accent wall in our master bedroom, when my husband moved into the condo we live in now, he lived there two years prior to me moving in, the accent wall was already painted, it is a nice turquoise color. really helps to break up the room and if i could i would love to paint chevron like in the photo you posted

As a renter, accent walls are a bit of a godsend for me - and now they make removable wallpaper there is no excuse for me not to have one! Love the fabric behind your bed.
