I like to make my cookies on the bigger side so this recipe made exactly 2.5 dozen cookies for me.
Ingredients...
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 sticks of butter, room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 big bag (12.6 oz) of M&Ms
Directions...
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In the bowl of your standing mixer, beat the butter until it is smooth. Add the brown and white sugars and mix until they are creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract.
- Slowly mix in the flour, baking soda and salt until they are fully incorporated.
- Reduce the mixer speed to "stir" and dump the entire bag of M&Ms in. Let them stir until they appear to be evenly spread throughout the batter.
- Drop the batter by rounded tablespoonfuls onto your cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10 minutes for soft cookies!
